STANDARD FEATURES:
Scroll Compressors run smoothly and quietly with up to 15% higher energy efficiency operation compared to other compressors. There are no valves or compression losses. There is minimal heat transfer between suction and discharge gas.
Tandem Scroll compressors are used on 10 ton and higher chillers. Staging compressors on demand offers tremendous energy savings and close temperature control. Compressors can be rotated to provide equal run time for each compressor thus increasing their life.
Stainless steel gas-to-liquid brazed plate evaporators are used which have high heat transfer coefficients through turbulent water flow and are compact in size.
Non-ferrous closed oversized tanks are supplied, to buffer any load fluctuations on process cooling systems.
Sight glass water level indcator
Phase sequence and loss-of-phase with indicator is provided as a standard feature to protect pumps, compressors and fan motors. System will not start unless the phasing is correct.
TC-110 digital read-out microprocessor (single or dual stage) with +/- 1-degree accuracy is used.
Heavy duty steel tube frames with hard rubber casters are used for durability.
Galvanized covers keep internal components clean.
Systems can be built to any voltages or frequencies and have 24VAC control for safe operation.
Standard safety features include high and low refrigeration, low ambient control, flow, temperature low/high limit, and temperature calibration contacts.
Thermostatic expansion valves provide automatic refrigerant control.
Filter dryer filters out particulate and moisture in the refrigeration system.
5-year compressor warranty with 1-year parts is the best in the industry.
OPTIONAL FEATURES:
Remote Monitoring has been developed and field-tested to monitor up to eight (8) chillers from a remote PC. The system monitors pressures, temperature, faults, run hours, operation and will automatically rotate chillers every 24 hour. Flash EPROMs are used to store volitile information upon power outages. No interconnection wiring is necessary between chillers or master panel. A shielded 4-conductor telephone send/receive communication cable is run between units and master panel.
Systems can be built to any configuration including remote condensers, in plant chiller compressor units with pump tanks and water-cooled systems upon request.
Isolation built-in heat exchangers are used to isolate the cooling water or tower water from the process control loop. This is used where supply water poses maintenance problems or drain back pressure creates cooling restrictions, or process water needs to be ran close to freezing. Self-contained evaporative air-cooled fluid coolers are available.
Multi-circuit manifolds are available which enables the direction of multiple flow of circulation liquid to and from the process.
Strainers can be provided in cast iron, bronze, or P.V.C.
