Fiberglass cooling towers have the ability to withstand the sun, wind and other weather conditions far better than other towers on the market today. The corrosion that normally occurs as a result of water used inside the tower and the chemicals in the treatment of the water has no effect on the inside of our towers resulting in a longer life span. The heavy duty thick wall shell design adds many more advantages to owning a Whaley Tower. The way the towers are designed with three sections that slip inside one another eliminates the need for gaskets and the possibility of leakage. Each tower is securely anchored to a heavy duty steel platform with forklift slots. This alone makes this tower superior to any other on the market.

The position of the aerodynamically efficient axial fans on top of the tower above the fill pack and distribution system coupled with the shape of our towers ensure superior performance. All fan blades are manufactured with fiberglass reinforced plastic material. TEFC motors are used to ensure long motor life.
Drift eliminators prevent the smaller water droplets from being carried out of the tower in the sir stream. The P.V.C. drift eliminator in placed across the whole section of the tower above the distribution system. The drift coalesces the droplets which rain back into the tower under gravity. The water lost through entrainment is virtually eliminated. The P.V.C. fill pack used in our towers has a high performance long life medium and is the most efficient fill available for cooling towers today. Maintenance is minimal when operating under normal conditions. It is especially patterened to prolong water and air contract while providing low resistance to air flow.
Incoming water is fed under pressure to a network of distribution pipes. The pipes are fitted with precise"non-clogging" durable P.V.C. spray nozzles which accurately distribute the water evenly over the whole fill pack.
