PACKAGED AIR
COOLED CHILLER

This 40 ton unit is set up with internal reservoir and pumps. One pump (chiller circulation pump) circulates the chiller's evaporator to keep the chiller's internal tank at the target set point temperature. The other pump (process supply pump) pulls out of the chiller’s internal reservoir, circulates to your downstream application, and returns back to the chiller's internal reservoir.

PACKAGED RACK-STYLE AIR COOLED CHILLER

This 40 ton unit is a packaged rack-style system with multiple independent refrigerant circuits for increased redundancy. This unit is also set up with internal reservoir and pumps. One pump (chiller circulation pump) circulates the chiller's evaporator to keep the chiller's internal tank at the target set point temperature. The other pump (process supply pump) pulls out of the chiller’s internal reservoir, circulates to your downstream application, and returns back to the chiller's internal reservoir.

SPLIT AIR COOLED CHILLER
WITH HEAT TRANSFER SKID

This 40 ton system is made up of 2 main components. The first component is an Air-Cooled Condenser Unit (ACCU), which is typically installed outdoors in order to deflect the heat to the outside atmosphere. The second component is the Heat Transfer Pump Tank Skid (HTPTS), which is typically installed indoors. The HTPTS contains evaporator(s), refrigerant liquid and suction line components, water/glycol reservoir, and pumps. One pump (chiller circulation pump) circulates the chiller's evaporator to keep the chiller system's reservoir tank at the target set point temperature. The other pump (process supply pump) pulls out of the chiller’s internal reservoir, circulates to your downstream application, and returns back to the chiller's internal reservoir.

This unit is a 40 ton chiller system only. It does not include a tank or pumps, so a tank and pumps will need to be supplied by others to work in conjunction with this unit. If you would like a separate quote for a packaged unit with pumps and tank, let us know.

One pump (chiller circulation pump) circulates the chiller's evaporator to keep the chiller's internal tank at the target set point temperature. The other pump (process supply pump) pulls out of the chiller’s internal reservoir, circulates to your downstream application, and returns back to the chiller's internal reservoir.
Condenser Side: A cooling tower loop or other condenser water loop is required to circulate the water-cooled condenser side of this system. No pump or reservoir is provided for the condenser side circulation. Whaley can provide a separate cooling tower and/or pump/strainer/control station to circulate the condenser side of this chiller system if needed.

Evaporator Side: An evaporator circulation loop is required to circulate the evaporator side of this 40 ton system. No pump or reservoir is provided for the evaporator side circulation. Whaley can provide a separate quote for a packaged water-cooled chiller with integral pumps/reservoir for the evaporator side circulation and process application circulation, if needed.
Condenser Side: A cooling tower loop or other condenser water loop is required to circulate the water-cooled condenser side of this 1.5 ton system. No pump or reservoir is provided for the condenser side circulation. Whaley can provide a separate cooling tower and/or pump/strainer/control station to circulate the condenser side of this chiller system if needed.
