The Elevated Cooling Tower with Pump Tank System 05 manufactured by Whaley Products, Inc. is a complete open loop system with pumps, tank, controls and filtration. This configuration can serve applications in ranges from 10 ton to unlimited tonnages. This unit comes with a cooling tower installed on a subframe elevated on steel legs with a separate skidded cooling tower pump tank system. Included on the pump tank is a drain down reservoir tank, cooling tower circulation pump, process pump, strainer, electrical disconnect, and control panel. Included in the controls are on/off switches for the pumps and tower fan(s). It also includes a digital temperature controller that cycles the tower fan based on the indoor pump tank system’s resevoir temperature. This configuration is beneficial for customers in cold weather environments to prevent the tower water from freezing. It is also more suitable for people who have available indoor space to install the pump tank system. For warmer climate installations, the pump tank system can easily be installed outdoor to conserve indoor space while still allowing a large oversized thermal buffer to exist in the system.

Elevated Tower with Pump Tank Skid 05
This complete system is made up of an Evaporative Open Loop Induced Draft Cooling Tower Module and a Cooling Tower Pump Tank System. The cooling tower is factory mounted on an epoxy coated steel sub-frame with fork slots and lifting eyes with steel legs to elevate the tower. The steel legs allow the cooling tower water to gravity return back to the Cooling Tower Pump Tank System included in this system. The Cooling Tower Pump Tank System is typically installed indoors, however can be installed outdoors with proper freeze protection and/or insulation. The Cooling Tower Pump Tank System contains a water reservoir and pumps. One pump (cooling tower circulation pump) circulates the cooling tower to keep the Cooling Tower Pump Tank System’s reservoir at the target set point temperature. The other pump (process supply pump) pulls out of the reservoir, circulates to the downstream application, and returns back to the system’s reservoir.
