Packaged Water-Cooled Chillers
Whaley Products, Inc. SW-Series water-cooled packaged chillers have an internal reservoir and pump system all on one skid to reduce floor space needed. WPI's packaged chillers can be either stationary or portable. Water-cooled units range in size from 1.0 Ton to 80 Tons. Whaley’s water-cooled chillers use water cooled condensers, either plate type or barrel type, to convert the high pressure gaseous refrigerant back to a high pressure liquid. The water cooled condensers are typically connected with a cooling tower and are usually preferred for medium and large installations where there is sufficient water. They are also preferred in cases that demand constant performance of the system, independent of the ambient temperature because the capacity is not affected by ambient temperature fluctuations.
