**Key Responsibilities:**
– Conduct diagnostic tests on Whaley Products, Inc.’s manufactured chiller systems to ensure optimal performance.
– Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot and identify issues in various HVAC/R equipment.
– Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on refrigerant compressors (scroll, semi-hermetic), water and glycol pumps, reservoirs, refrigeration controls, and other system components.
– Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback for continuous improvement in system design and functionality.
**Requirements:**
– Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC/R field, with a focus on different types of equipment (not just residential changeouts or service calls).
– Held EPA universal refrigeration certification for minimum 10 years.
– Proficiency in running diagnostic tests and troubleshooting industrial chiller systems.
– In-depth knowledge of refrigerant compressors, water and glycol pumps, reservoirs, and refrigeration controls.
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
**Additional Skills (Preferred):**
– Tech support experience for field-related customer communication.
– Experience in industrial applications, microprocessors, and PLCs a plus, but not required.
– Experience with industrial chillers, cooling towers, air conditioning or heating systems also a plus, but not required.

– Execute, lead, and oversee assembly and wiring of electrical disconnects, control panels, and general electrical wiring and design for a range of industrial cooling and heating equipment.
-Install, wire, and test Whaley’s microprocessor (PLC) controllers which control primarily process chiller, cooling tower, and pump tank system applications.
– Lead and mentor a team of electrical department employees to ensure top-notch performance and continuous improvement.
– Utilize your expertise in electric code to ensure compliance and safety in all electrical applications and testing.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams (refrigeration, plumbing, welding, quality control) to enhance the overall efficiency and quality of our products.
– Provide technical support to customers in the field, assisting with system troubleshooting.
– Oversee electrical component purchasing for custom projects.
**Requirements:**
